[Bug 1536843] Re: vlc refuses to compile against qtbase-opensource-src

 

The patch in question is actually already backported to Ubuntu:
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-
kde/qt/qtbase.git/tree/debian/patches/set_WA_OutsideWSRange_for_native_widgets.patch?h=ubuntu

That means VLC is making a wrong assumption about it not being
backported and needs to be forced to skip that error.

  opensource-src on xenial:

  configure: error: "You cannot build VLC with Qt-5.5.0. You need to
  backport I78ef29975181ee22429c9bd4b11d96d9e68b7a9c"
