Title:
[Sections] selectedIndex binding is broken if the model changes
Status in Canonical System Image:
New
Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
If I assign a default value for the selectedIndex, it is expected that
the binding for this value will be kept until the user selects a
different section. Changing the model should not affect that, but it
does, as this example shows:
import QtQuick 2.0
import Ubuntu.Components 1.3
MainView {
width: 720
height: 1280
Page {
id: myPage
anchors.fill: parent
title: "Click the page"
header: PageHeader {
id: pageHeader
title: myPage.title
extension: Sections {
id: pageSections
model: [ "one", "two", "three" ]
selectedIndex: 1
}
}
MouseArea {
anchors.fill: parent
onClicked: pageSections.model = [ "first", "second", "third" ]
}
}
}
