Sorry, but this tip, however very useful, cannot be accepted as apt-proxy is not in main, which is against the rules defined in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/server-tips

Bug description:
More than one Ubuntu server running? Use apt-proxy to save bandwith. Alter /etc/apt/sources.list to use http://yourserver:9999 instead default servers.
