Hello everyone,

A quick Friday e-mail today. More movement from the landing POV since we
had multiple package releases happening: a new indicator-sound (changes
to icon handling, changing it depending on the current use-case), fix
for dialer-app, new network-manager (fixes to WiFi scanning), a new
ubuntu-system-settings (minor improvements), geonames and a new
distro-patch fix for Qt5.
We still didn't land all the new custom tarballs we wanted as there seem
to be some issues with them. Hopes are we get them in as soon as
possible next week.

Please be sure to check out my earlier announcement about framework
deprecation. If possible, try to keep all your applications up-to-date
and using possibly the latest framework. This will allow us to keep our
frameworks tidy, without having to keep all the outdated ones around.
