[Bug 1444520] Re: sdcard: can not see files and folders
Hi,
I'm having the same problem. The sdcard is visible from the pc and I
can add files that are accessible to other apps such as Music or
Gallery. I've added files to the internal storage of the phone and when
I open the File Manager it can see those files. If I pull up the
'Places' page the sdcard is visible (EE19-1DBE). When I select the
sdcard the new page comes up headed EE19-1DBE and shows the directory
string /media/phablet/EE19-1DBE (0 files) and it says 'No files' in the
middle of the page - even though there are the standard folders on the
sdcard and music and image files on it. If I try the small menu and
select 'Properties' the Permissions says Readable, Writable, Executable.
When I select Unlock full access a popup appears with 'Authentication
required: Password is required to access all files' - but I have not put
in a password. It makes no difference if I select show hidden files. I
also tried adding a new folder which did nothing.
