Bug description:
Autopilot tests shouldn't be performing invasive actions on the
fileystem such as adding and removing files in /home. Instead, as
needed, files / folders and the environment for running tests should
be isolated from the user data.
Using initctl env vars and mock for the desktop should allow this to
occur.
