I asked someone wise and learned that it is normal, that you have to restart the Jenkins
by hand from time to time. Like a good old database, that would never throw away an interrupted
transaction and simply halt... But when it runs, it runs fine! Somehow it seems even to figure
out not to merge a newer branch, when an older branch is still pending for merge and approval.
