Hiya.

And quite a list it is.* I think this would be most efficient if you'd go
and check your name by a list of 5-10 screenshots that you're going to do
yourself, so we're not all doing the same ones. *
Also, have we decided on what application to use for taking screenshots?

Maybe I'm failing to understand something, but I think it doesn't matter
which screenshot utility you use as long as they're in the same format and
resolution. Am I wrong here? Personally, I prefer Shutter because it has a
great filenaming and format options system, among other things.
*So file format will be .jpg, and resolution 72 dpi correct?*

*Agreed. To keep this standardized, we need to use similar punctuation +
syntax, I think.*
So I'd suggest:
In the example of Ubuntu intro menu, the description is: "Applications Menu
(Main Menu) (gnome-panel -> main-menu open)"
*So, this would translate to filename: "gnome-panel_main-menu_open.jpg"*
Unless our programmers dont' mind filenames with a bunch of spaces in it, in
which case we could make it look nicer, but which I doubt.
