Hello.This happens and with the Greek language.
The field "Volume ID" has the value "Δίσκος δεδομένων GnomeBaker".The problem is on field's translate and the command which runs have a problem on greek encoding. In addition sometimes i take this error: "genisoimage: Volume ID string too long".For this reason will be better to add a restriction of characters to Volume ID field. All this on GnomeBaker 0.6.4.Thank you!

  Russian Gnomebaker doesn't record dvd disk out of the box.

Bug description:
  As brasero has a bug with recognizing just erased DVD disks I decided to try Gnomebaker.
  I created a new project, then added few files and clicked "Burn" button.
  Gnomebaker failed with message "Executing 'genisoimage -gui -V Диск с данными GnomeBaker -A GnomeBaker -p Serge -iso-level 3 -l -r -hide-rr-moved -J -joliet-long -graft-points --path-list /tmp/GnomeBaker-serge/gnomebaker-AUML9U | builtin_dd of=/dev/sr0 obs=32k seek=0'
  genisoimage: Volume ID string too long
  :-( write failed: Input/output error"
  Obviously it didn't like default volume name (look at linked picture, marked with #1),

  so I changed volume name to "New Disk" (look at second picture), but it didnt hep, Gnomebaker failed failed again with same error message.

  Ony after googling about 15 minutes I have found that after clicking "Burn" button I have to go to "Disk Information" tab and change Volume ID there, which is not obvious at all. This was not obvious because genisoimage report as bad Volume ID, but in Disk Information related field in russian is called as Volume Number (translated back to english).

  Please change that field's default value to something short to make
  Gnomebaker usable out of the box for russian (and probably some other)
  users or just doesn't transate it. And also change "Номер тома"
  (Volume Number) to "Идентификатор тома" (Volume Identificator) to make
  things clear.

  PS Maybe "Volume Name" and "Volume Identificator" should be the same
  and should change simultaneously. I dont know. If so then there is
  also a bug in Gnomebaker because changing one of these doesn't change
  another.
