[Bug 644164] migrating packaging from OpenOffice.org to Libreoffice
[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix
If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project
Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that
has not happened already.
Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to
allow cross pollination.

Title:
Please disable translations template generation in OO.o
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Won't Fix
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
The Ubuntu OO.o package has a rule in the debian/rules to generate
translation templates (.pot files) in order to import translations
into Launchpad.
As no one is maintaining the translations in the package right now, we
disabled the OO.o translations in Launchpad a couple of cycles ago.
Unless we need them for statistics, it is generally not necessary to
import OO.o translations into Launchpad until we find a way to deal
with them.
So until then, could the generation of templates be disabled in the
rules file? Thanks!
(The reason I'm asking this is because unless we need them for a
specific purpose, it is not useful to import them until we actually
use them, and they are just putting extra load on the translations
imports queue)
