[Bug 878851] Re: Date and Time Settings in the panel are improperly translated using Simplified Chinese

For the record, I think Scenario 2) is not a localization bug and should
probably be reported separately against indicator-time.

In fact, it looks quite similar to bug 771510

Also, what's the output of the following command in this system?

$ locale

If you could attach or paste the ~/.profile and /etc/default/locale file
it would be greatly helpful to debug this issue.

Thanks!

Title:
Date and Time Settings in the panel are improperly translated using
  Simplified Chinese

Status in Ubuntu Translations:
  Triaged
Status in “unity-2d” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  unity-2d 4.12.0-0ubuntu1 (oneiric)

When using Simplified Chinese as the default language, it has been
noticed that some of the time and date settings are incorrect in the
  panel applet for the clock.

  The two that were noticed:

Scenario 1) The week is improperly translated in the unity-2d panel if the user does the following:
*Clicks the clock, selects 'time and date settings' and clicks the checkbox to show the week.
*The result is an improperly translated week. See attached "picture2.jpg"

Scenario 2) The week is improperly translated in the clock applet when clicked. To reproduce:
  * Click the clock applet in the panel
  * View the line that are supposed to display the day, month, and the week. Note that they are not translated properly into Simplified Chinese. The day says "Label Empty", Month is just a "(u)" for every month, and the days of the week on the calendar are garbled. See attached "picture 3.jpg"
