Status in MPlayer: a versatile and fast multimedia player:
  Confirmed
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
  Invalid
Status in “mplayer” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Mplayer label, inside applications -> audio & Video is not translated in Italian.
  In fact it reports "Mplayer Movie player". I think a solution for Italian could be "Mplayer - lettore multimediale"

  Tested with Hardy.
