I've noticed that this bug prevents onboard to be displayed in lightdm
welcome screen (see the attached image). That makes imposible to start a
session without an external keyboard (unless autologin is enabled).

  I've installed in virtualbox ubuntu 12.04 alpha2 32 bits. When I open
  onboard 0.96.2-0ubuntu1 I receive an error message:
