Hi,
I would like to help with translating into latin, but there doesn't
seem to be any group that I can join to translate. How can I still help?

Hi Niklas

Unfortunately, there is currently no support for Latin in Ubuntu,
despite whatever Kenneth said earlier.

Ah sorry. I just assumed that this page listed the demands.
\Kenneth

No worries, it's all good :). Gabor and I had a chat on IRC today and decided to change the page to add that note.

Cheers,
David.

This is unlikely to change,
sorry. The rule of thumb here is that the language has to be a natural
and living. So dead languages like Latin, or fictional ones like Klingon
won't be supported. This information is part of the
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/StartingTeam page
(from today).

But don't despair, there are several other fun ways to help the Ubuntu
project - like translation to Swedish, just to name one :)

Regards and sorry for the confusion
Gabor Kelemen
