[Bug 926493] Re: [UIFe] The installer still says your picture will be used on the login screen
Benjamin, as far as I know we don't have documentation for the installer
except for the (rather technical) installation guide.
https://help.ubuntu.com/11.10/installation-guide/amd64/
We've still got two weeks until Documentation Freeze if you (or others)
want to add that to the installed-by-default help. You're welcome to
ping me on #ubuntu-doc or at ubuntu-doc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you want to
discuss this more.

Title:
[UIFe] The installer still says your picture will be used on the login
screen
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Fix Released
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
According to the installer at the "Choose a picture" step:
"This picture will identify you in the account settings, login screen,
and lock screen."
However, the login screen does not currently allow for the user
picture to be shown, nor is this planned ( bug 834733 was marked as
Won't Fix and Invalid). As such, there is an inconsistency here.
