[Bug 950206] Re: [UIFe] add LVM and APT information to system-summary
Seems fine to me. I figure this is not covered by documentation, so it
should be alright, but I'd appreciate an ack from the doc team.

Title:
[UIFe] add LVM and APT information to system-summary
Status in “friendly-recovery” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
The system-summary is a new screen introduced in 12.04 aimed at giving useful debugging information to the user.
The current menu already includes information on CPU, memory, disk, raid state.
James proposed a branch adding support for LVM and APT database
status: https://code.launchpad.net/~jamesodhunt/ubuntu/precise
/friendly-recovery/system-symmary-add-lvm+apt/+merge/93597
I have updated it a bit, giving me: http://paste.ubuntu.com/875061/
It's introducing a total of 14 new strings in our translation template but doesn't change any so it won't create fuzzy/missing strings.
As far as I know the current system-summary menu isn't covered in the documentation.
Adding 14 new strings on top of the existing 32 will likely cause a pretty substential regression in translation coverage:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/friendly-recovery/+pots/friendly-recovery
However all these are tied to a single "page" of friendly-recovery
which already contains some english because of its use of files from
/proc.
