[Bug 889966] Re: Incorrect units for file size in Nautilus

 

Thanks Pablo for investigating all translation templates affected and
for providing the patch.

However, we do not generally patch language patches, as translations can
be fixed in Launchpad. So I'd recommend that you do the fixes there, and
then they will be included in a new language pack release.

Before doing any changes, though, I would suggest that you guys talk to
the upstream translation team [1] at GNOME to keep everyone in the loop,
as that's where the original translations came from.

Bug description:
  Nautilus shows file sizes in MB but in the spanish translation MiB is used. See attached screenshot:
  Tamaño: 728,0 MiB (728018944 bytes)
  It should read:
  Tamaño: 728,0 MB (728018944 bytes)
  as it does in english.
