Title:
name exists on network string needs i18n
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Triaged
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
The string "That name already exists on the network" in
/ubiquity/plugins/ubi-usersetup.py needs i18n.
To reproduce:
1) Launch the installer
2) Choose a language other than English
3) On the "Who are you" page, enter the name of an existing network host in the 'computer name' field
Expected results:
The warning string is translated into the language selected in step #2
Actual results:
The warning string is in English regardless of the language selected in step #2
(See the FIXME in the function lookup_result)
Bug exists in 12.04 and in trunk.
