Message #05131
[Bug 982924] Re: "Record you passphrase" notification untranslated
Hi Gabor,
thanks for your quick response.
You're describing an issue with or without line break just after the "Description:" string, right?
Indeed I suffered the issue when working on my branch.
I'm sorry for my insufficient explanation, my current issue in #6 is
with or without a single dot after a single space (will be recognized as
a line break).
This combination of the two below is not shown as translated:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1325199/
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1325201/
But another combination (without linebreak) works:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1325198/
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1325196/
Did you heard something like this before?

Title:
"Record you passphrase" notification untranslated
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Triaged
Status in “ecryptfs-utils” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Ubuntu Precise Desktop 20120416
On first boot after an installation with encrypted home a notification
is displayed to record user's passphrase. In non-english langugage the
dialog box is translated but not the message itself.
The message is
"""
Record your encryption passphrase
To encrypt your home directory or "Private" folder, a strong passphrase has been automatically generated. Usually your directory is unlocked with your user password, but if you ever need to manually recover this directory, you will need this passphrase. Please print or write it down and store it in a safe location.
If you click "Run this action now", enter your login password at the "Passphrase" prompt and you can display your randomly generated passphrase.
Otherwise, you will need to run "ecryptfs-unwrap-passphrase" from the command line to retrieve and record your generated passphrase.
"""
