Re: [Ubuntu-l10n-eng] [Bug 1034488] [NEW] Rename "Aeroplane mode" to "Flight mode"

Which devices use "Flght mode" ? All the Android devices I own or use
have "Aeroplane mode", including the latest CM10.1 (JB4.2), for their
UK translation.

Is this actually a translation issue to be "fixed" or simply a change
to reduce the amount of vocabulary needing translation in other
devices?

Title:
Rename "Aeroplane mode" to "Flight mode"

Status in Ayatana Design:
  Fix Committed
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
  New
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
In network settings, the toggle to turn on/off radios when you are on
a plane is titled "Aeroplane mode" which is the British-English
  spelling ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeroplane_(disambiguation)
). The US-English would be "Airplane mode".

"Aeroplane mode" feels overly traditional, and has been replaced
largely on devices with "Flight mode", which is also more accurate as
it is the flying that is the problem, not just being on a plane (e.g.
when the plane is not moving you are allowed to use device radios).
