Title:
incorrect german expression - "ausgehangen"
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Fix Released
Bug description:
GERMAN LANGUAGE
When trying to unmount an external hard drive that currently can not
be unmounted, the following grammatically incorrect message appears:
============================================
Volume kann nicht ausgehangen werden
Cannot unmount because file system on device is busy
============================================
In this context "ausgehangen werden" is absolutely wrong, it should
say "ausgehängt werden". The word "ausgehangen" is often used
incorrectly by former GDR residents and unfortunately many less
educated West Germans adopt this bad habbit nowadays.
The dictionary says:
http://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/aushaengen_angeschlagen_sein
So please change the expression into:
===========================================
Volume kann nicht ausgehängt werden
Cannot unmount because file system on device is busy
===========================================
Thank you!
