The string was changed recently.

Actually the .pot only has two dots too, so it needs to be updated.

Bug description:
  The .pot has "Add contacts..." the .po has "Add contacts.." (just two
  .. instead of three ...)

  Not sure who is responsible to update that but that is making
  https://translations.launchpad.net/messaging-app/+translations show at
  100% in spanish when it's really not 100%
