I kind of disagree. I would blame the UI for assuming that the message it wants to tell to the user fits in that small space. From the translator's point of view, it's wrong to lose part of the message.
I would say that the right widget for this is not a button.

For now, I've updated the translation. Now it only says: Reproducir ( "play" )

Bug description:
  See the attached image.

  It shows the spanish translation of the "Play in music app" button. It
  doesn't fit so it shows "Play in ap...".
