[Bug 1743251] Re: Wrong translation in German man page for adduser
Thanks for your report!
This kind of translation is upstream (Debian) by nature. I think the
best way to correct it is to open a Debian bug and attach a modified PO
file to that bug report.
This is the PO file:
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/adduser/adduser.git/tree/doc/po4a/po/de.po

Title:
Wrong translation in German man page for adduser
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Triaged
Bug description:
In the German version of the man page for `adduser` (provided by the
package `adduser` in version `3.113+nmu3ubuntu4`, though it's also
present in version `3.113+nmu3ubuntu5`) we have
> Einen System-Benutzer einrichten
Wird adduser ohne die Option --system und mit einem nicht optionalen Argument aufgerufen, richtet adduser einen System-Benutzer ein.
but in the English version it says
> Add a system user
If called with one non-option argument and the --system option, adduser will add a system user.
So the error is the text "ohne die" (without) which should be replaced
by "mit der" (with).
