[Bug 1760482] Re: Translation files for Synaptic are missing
Yes, they were, but the package change happened a couple of hours after
the export which preceded the creation of the latest language packs.
Consequently the translations will show up again after next langpack
update.

Bug description:
It looks like that the latest Synaptic package in Ubuntu 18.04 is
untranslated because the mo-files in /usr/share/locale are missing.
Were they moved to the language-pack?
