Previously I've sent CD requests separate from conf-pack requests, so
they're aware of the need for CDs.

I remember for OLF 2008 they sent somewhere around 500 CDs, on top of
leftover discs from previous releases. OLF is a sizable conference,
and I think they're aware of that. It depends on what's available, but
it never hurts to ask. :D
