UbuCon at Ohio Linux Fest
Hi all!
I was asked by Organizers at the the Ohio Linux Fest if I would be
interested in organizing and UbuCon at OLF this year. The space would
be free and we would just need to plan it out.
We would need 2 or 3 people willing to facilitate the UbuCon on Friday
September 10th from 10am until roughly 5:20pm.
I created a google doc [1] with some preliminary works up and the
things that I am willing to help with. This would be the Ohio LoCo
Team's UbuCon (not akgraners) as we want to highlight to those who are
participating that this is one of the many things that LoCo teams get
to be a part of.
I need to get back in touch with the OLF folks as soon as possible so
if I could get a couple of names who would commit to running with this
that would be great. :-)
I'll be there - I am speaking this year at OLF and will be more than
happy to help where I can or just to be available to mentor or advise
through the process if needed. So far there has been the UbuCon and
ALF (2009), UbuCon at SCaLE 8x (2010), UbuCon at SELF (2010) and if
all goes well UbuCon at OLF (2010). Attendance runs about 80 - 100
people at each of the past UbuCons.
Thanks y'all - you rock!
