Hi all,

Voting is now open. Your candidates for the new Ubuntu Ohio council
member are Cheri Francis and Stephen Michael Kellat.  Their platforms
have been posted to the list, and if you have questions for them,
please feel free to ask now.

In order to cast your vote, write a message indicating your choice and
save it to a file, for example "message.txt".  You need to either gpg
encrypt or clearsign your message for myself and Jon (only use the
encryption option if you don't want your opinion made public).

For the clearsign option, just execute

$ gpg --clearsign message.txt

then send "message.txt.asc" as an email to
ubuntu-us-ohio-council@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

If you want to encrypt your choice, then first you need Jon and my
public keys (Jon, please send a message with your fingerprint).

$ gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-key 0f0f4ffa <Jon's fingerprint>

Next encrypt your message

$ gpg --recipient 0f0f4ffa --recipient <Jon's fingerprint> --encrypt
message.txt

then send "message.txt.gpg" as an email to
ubuntu-us-ohio-council@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday June 12th 2011.
