You know what; since you seem to feel strongly about this, you may want
to actually propose a better fix of im-switch for Raring (before im-
switch goes away), and if it's approved, then request that it's
backported as a backport: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports

I did that a few cycles ago with some other i18n related changes, even
if I personally would have preferred them being SRUed.
