Where are you seeing 3.0.0? I don't see that in the debian/changelog
in lp:unity-firefox-extension trunk.

Steps to reproduce:
1. make sure you have webapps components enabled (best to try this in
a fresh VM)
2. open firefox
3. browse to reddit.com
4. choose to enable integration when prompted
5. notice that CPU usage spikes permanently and firefox becomes
unusable / crashes.
