[Bug 1616537] [NEW] Just use Google's GN binaries
Public bug reported:
We currently compile our own GN binaries (well, binary, because we only
compile it for linux64 at the moment) and provide it in lp:~oxide-
developers/oxide/+git/oxide-tools. GN changed recently in a backwards-
incompatible way which makes it difficult to provide binaries that
aren't specific to a particular oxide/chromium branch.
Given that a Chromium checkout contains a linux64 build of GN, we should
probably just use that for local developer builds. I don't think there
is a need to provide linux32 or linux/arm binaries of GN for developers,
as those are effectively unsupported build hosts anyway.
This will require changes coordinated across all branches
