[Bug 1659368] Re: Paused YouTube videos don't dim the screen

 

Thanks for the feedback! I doubt this has anything to do with the
version of webbrowser-app (the change between the two versions was
minimal, just one UA override for appear.in), so it was most likely a
transient issue caused by a temporary failure somewhere else in the
stack. Anyway, I’ll close the bug for now.

  Paused YouTube videos don't dim the screen

Bug description:
  Test case.
  - Open System Settings > Battery and set screen dim time to 1 minute.
  - Open webbrowser app in a phone device.
  - Go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3Cqd-iIYFw
  - Tap to start playing the video.
  - Tap to pause the video.

  Expected result.
  - After a minute, the screen dims.

  Actual result.
  - The screen doesn't dim.
