[Bug 362966] Re: Can't install fglrx driver properly on ubuntu 9.04 RC, system crashes when installed.

 

Thanks for reporting this fglrx bug.  From your report it appears you're
using a chipset that AMD no longer supports with -fglrx, so we are
closing this bug report as unsupported.  For this hardware, it is
recommended that you use the -ati video driver.  If you have trouble
uninstalling -fglrx and switching to -ati using normal processes, please
see

for troubleshooting guidance.
