[Bug 330989] Re: Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in DamageUnregister()

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 324137 ***
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/324137

This is not a duplicate of #324137.

The initial report of #324137 and all the other duplicates are running
under VirtualBox with the VirtualBox virtual VGA driver.

This report is running on physical hardware with SiS 5597/etc. Xorg
driver, "sis_drv.o".

I did not initially object to the characterization as a duplicate
because the SIGSEGV stack frames look the same. But now that the
duplicate is being assigned to the VB integration team as if this a VB
bug, this one needs to be separated out. It is some sort of pure Xorg
server or SiS driver bug, nothing to do with VB (which has never been
anywhere near this system).

Note: I added a PCI video board to this system to avoid this problem +
get faster graphics. So it's no longer reproducing for me, but could be
made to with some effort. I do not know whether it's still a problem
with Jaunty release version. The video board change was done about 2
weeks before release, I don't think there was much Xorg / X driver churn
since then, I expect the bug is still alive.
