[Bug 361778] Re: [i965gm] [jaunty] desktop freezes suddenly

using the xserver-xorg-video-intel from
https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates/

seems my freeze issue has gotten resolved with the installation of
ii  xserver-xorg-video-intel                   2:2.7.0-1ubuntu2~xup~1
as a curious note the glxgears jumped from around 500 to 1200, my penquin racer seems a bit faster with speeds of 85
on the downhill.
exa seems to now be included..
grep exa /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(**) intel(0): Option "AccelMethod" "exa"
(II) intel(0): Using exact sizes for initial modes
(II) Loading sub module "exa"
(II) LoadModule: "exa"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules//libexa.so
(II) Module exa: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
(II) intel(0): 0x0ed40000-0x0fffffff: exa offscreen (19200 kB)
