[Bug 350319] [NEW] computer freeze when having effects turned on

i have installed Kubuntu 9.04 beta and updated up to date. When i use
Desktop effects the computer freezes randomly. In Alpha 6 everything
worked fine. Also i use open source drivers which come in Kubuntu.
