MDill, I don't see anything suspicious in the series of changes from
0ubuntu2 to 0ubuntu8 that could cause a problem such as you've
described.  Mostly they're fixing Xv issues, and assorted problems on
hardware unrelated to yours.

However, it sounds like your testing is pretty deterministic, so I've
uploaded debs for the series between 0ubuntu2 and 0ubuntu8 for you to
check:

Please test 0ubuntu3, 0ubuntu4, 0ubuntu6, and 0ubuntu7 and let me know
which of those exhibit the problem and which do not; that should clue us
in on which change resulted in the cropping for you.
