[Bug 348596] Re: New files are always placed on the left-most screen

I'm having the same problem in 9.04. Everything worked perfectly in 8.04 with
the 173 drivers. When I open any program from the menu (except Firefox, Mozilla
Prism, MonoDevelop, or the foomatic gui), they open on screen 0. If I use alt+f2
on screen 1, the application opens on screen 1. If i create any desktop
launchers they only appear on screen 0.

I running two monitors as follows:
"Monitor0" "SceptreX9G-NagaV" HorizSync 30.0-81.0 VertRefresh 40.0-76.0
"Monitor1" "Staples" "LCD SP9106" HorizSync 31.0-83.0 VertRefresh 56.0-75.0
"GeForce 9600 GT" "PCI:1:0:0" Dual Head

I've attached a tar file with my xorg.conf which was configured by
nivida-settings. When that didn't work I had edited the file to set up two
separate x screens like I've always done with the same results. The tar file
contains the output from `lspci -vnnn` and the output from
`sudo apt-cache policy nvidia-glx-180`. The video card is an Asus 9600GT with
two DVI outputs.

I thought maybe some extra information might help solve the problem.

** Attachment added: "xorg.conf, lspci -vnnn, and nvidia drivers info."
