[Bug 377712] [NEW] wireless keyboard stops working, unable to type

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

i hava a connectland smart KVM switch, wireless microsoft comfort
keyboard + mouse model 1027. I'm using 3 machines, a 2003 windows
server, a windows vista and an ubuntu 9.04. When I use ubuntu and only
when I do certain things like trying to change a background or playing a
game my mouse will freeze, it will only moved horizontally for a few
seconds and then once the mouse moves normally my keyboard won't work.
I'm unable to type on anything like on text editor or microsoft word or
web browser address on any of my computers and the only way to fix it is
to turn off the ubuntu machine. Once ubuntu is off I'm able to use my
keyboard again but will have same issue after using ubuntu for a while.
If I use the windows machines by themselves I have no problems.
