[Bug 379157] Re: [i945G] Samsung TV not detected on VGA output (no screens)
I just had a look at it, and it seems that 22_no_pipe_for_hotplug_detection.patch is just the patch that was in question. I have built binary packages where it is disabled and enabled. The enabled case should be just the same as what you got from the PPA, but it would be nice if you could test both, in case something is different with my build environment. xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.4_2.4.1-1ubuntu12~gomyhr1_i386.deb
* 1ubuntu11~ppa1 is the one from Reinhard Tartler, but rebuilt by me
* 1ubuntu12~gomyhr1 is the same but with 22_no_pipe_for_hotplug_detection.patch commented out in debian/patches/series
If we're lucky, the first one does not work and the second works.
