[Bug 385551] Re: Jaunty -- Intel 82945G/GZ -- Screen full of vertical lines, cannot logon
It looks like X cannot properly detect this monitor. If you look at
Xorg.0.log you will see nothing pertaining to detected modelines, etc.
Whereas on my home desktop PC, it works great and shows all the
modelines.
ddcprobe reports resolutions, however per Xorg.0.log X uses a
nonexistent 1152x864 resolution. I think that this is the issue.
