Did you use compiz on Ubuntu Interpid?
Did you install some another drivers on Ubuntu Hardy?

The attached files Xorg.0.log and Xorg.20.log is from Jaunty. Could you
please attach Xorg.0.log from Hardy?

Can not use compiz in Jaunty with via vn896 even if I can use it on Hardy
