That doesn't look like the same bug.  The most prominent feature of this
is the screen rapidly flashing black.  The mouse is totally unresponsive
and occurrences of this bug either clear up or cause x to crash within a
minute, so there's no time for the screen to dim and be brought back by
mouse movement.

This is a laptop so I don't know how to disable the keyboard if it's
possible, but I've used multiple mouses and seen the same problem.
