[Bug 391694] Re: xorg crashes right after logging in
When you get to the login screen switch over to the one of the command
line tty.
ALT+F2 should give you one of them. Log into the command line with your user name and type the following command ->
metacity --replace &
This should disable the compiz program.
To re-enable type:
compiz --replace &
Check to see if you can log in successfully doing this....
