[Bug 376313] [NEW] compiz compositing leaves jittery bottom half of screen

This does not occur when visual effects is set to none in appearance menu.
All of the display below a certain point on the screen are jittered at random, although very frequent times.
release is vanilla ubuntu 9.04:
