[Bug 386740] Re: [K8M800] mouse pointer corruptly displayed at the bottom of the X screen

 

I applied the patch openchrome_add_debug_checkpoints.patch which also
includes the patch at
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27411446/panel_pm800_new2.patch .

I connected the external monitor and set the ActiveDevice to CRT:

Section "Device"
        Identifier      "Configured Video Device"
        Option "ActiveDevice" "CRT"
EndSection

The X displayed correctly on the external monitor at resolution
1280x1024, the mouse cursor is also working correctly. On the panel,
however, different colored moving lines and points are displayed and one
can only recognise the colors of the external display but not the
shapes.

Expected would be that the panel do not display anything in this case
(i.e. black screen).
