[Bug 394439] Re: GM965 tearing flash fullscreen 2:2.7.99.1+git20090602.ec2fde7c-0ubuntu1
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Since the upgrade to 2:2.7.99.1+git20090602.ec2fde7c-0ubuntu1 yesterday,
all performance related issues with Intel videocard & compiz have been
resolved except tearing is experienced with flash video on fullscreen
only. Flash video is fine on small screen. Other video type playback is
fine.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd32
Date: Wed 1 July 2009
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Machine type: Dell Inspiron
Further to the above I have noticed that the tearing occurs when
watching Flash video in the following conditions:
1: Change from watching video in small screen in Firefox Mozilla to full screen
2: Video is being streamed from the internet
Tearing does NOT occur under the following conditions:
1: Watching in full screen in MPlayer
2: Video has been saved in Cache and is now played from here
