On upgrade to 2.6.35-23, nvidia has stopped working for me.  It was
working on 2.6.35-22.  However settings configured with "sudo nvidia-
settings" have never persisted across reboots in 10.10.

If I blow away /etc/X11/xorg.conf and reboot, the system comes up
without nvidia drivers and "mostly" works (no twin view, as expected).
