Crimson_Fox, are you talking about the fglrx built-in Xinerama module or
the xorg Xinerama module?  The fglrx Xinerama module causes maximized
windows to span multiple screens, so I'm hoping you're talking about the
xorg Xinerama module.  Would you mind posting your xorg.conf and xorg
log?
