[Bug 662998] Re: System freezes when running on battery
Yes, 605967 looks similar, but the original post was for Ubuntu 10.04,
which never froze on my system, even after I gave up on 10.10 and
reinstalled Lucid.

One thing that has not been mentioned in this thread: the "magic" key
sequences to reboot Linux don't work either.
On my system, I tried disabling the wireless, and I thought it was
fixed, but just as I was typing my findings (on Ethernet), it froze
again...
